On Tuesday, November 17th, Steve Buonomo was involved in a serious accident on Route 110. As a sales consultant for Amesbury Chevrolet, Steve is an important and beloved member of our staff. That’s why we held the Stevie B. River Cruise Benefit. Proceeds are in benefit of the recovery fund for our great employee and friend.
The Stevie B. River Cruise Benefit was held on Friday, August 26th at 6:30pm aboard the Captain’s Lady II at the Newburyport Waterfront Park. There was plenty of dancing, a DJ, drinks, and good-hearted fun. There was even a 50/50 raffle for those looking to walk away with some great prizes. The grand prize winner of the Point Sebago Getaway with golf package was Ms. Makarewicz.
The accident on November 17th left Steve with several injuries, including a traumatic brain injury and fractured bones. Initially airlifted to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, he is now working toward recovery by performing extensive rehabilitation.
Part of the recovery fund was built on donations from a GoFundMe campaign that was able to raise more than $10,000 to help with this long and difficult process. Nonetheless, more money is needed for medical bills and living expenses. If you wanted to have a fun time while doing some good, we hope you were able to come down to the Stevie B. River Cruise Benefit.
Thankfully, we were able to raise a whopping $10,000 during this fundraiser! Thanks to everyone in the community to helped us help out a dear friend.
Chevy recently released three new special edition SUVs, each of which has sharp styling and great new features. They include the Equinox Midnight Edition, Sport Edition, and Traverse Graphite Edition. Fans and reviewers can’t stop raving—these Chevy special edition SUVs are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
According to Chevy, the Equinox special edition models will come with Mosaic Black Metallic (Midnight Edition) and Summit White (Sport Edition) colors. They will also have the following exterior features:
- Black grille
- Black Chevy bowties
- Black 18-inch alloy wheels
- Jet-Black leather seating
- Memory settings for driver
- Black mirror caps
- Black roof rack crossbars
This black undertone makes these new Chevy special edition SUVs bolder and sharper, with looks you can spot a mile down the road.
“Special Editions give consumers an opportunity to buy something outside of the mainstream trim designation,” said Karl Brauer, senior director of automotive industry insights for Kelly Blue Book. “This lets them spend a little more for a unique model, one that often provides a higher resale value when it’s time to sell or trade the vehicle for their next purchase.”
The 2017 Traverse Graphite Edition will be available exclusively on the 2LT trim. It will have multiple color options, including Mosaic Black Metallic, Tungsten Metallic, Siren Red Tintcoat, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. The Graphite Edition also gets:
- 20-inch Dark Charcoal wheels
- Dual exhaust
- Black Chevy bowties
- Integrated Assist Step
These new Chevy special edition model are also being released after the Trax Midnight Edition was announced last December. Chevy owners are getting more options than ever before, as well as sharper vehicle styling to truly set them apart on the road.
